Creating a New Customer

Customers, belonging to clients are End Users of the system. Customers can be businesses or individuals. The application provides us to create a customer in two different ways. The customer holds the relationship for all the onboarded customers and its associations read more.

  • There are two different Customer Type

    • INDIVIDUAL: The application collects the necessary Know Your Customer (KYC) data for customers, and this data is validated to meet the application's requirements. When creating a customer, the customerType must be set to "INDIVIDUAL" in the request payload.

    • COMPANY: The application collects the necessary Know Your Business (KYB) and/or Know Your Customer (KYC) data for customers, and this data is validated to meet the application's requirements. When creating a customer, the customerType must be set to "COMPANY" in the request payload.

      • The user must select BusinessEntityType from the list that are available in the request payload entityType field.
  • Some pointers to keep in mind while creating a customer are as follows:

    • The following data should be unique for each customer:
      • For Individuals
        • Phone number
        • Email
        • Passport
        • Tax Id Number
      • For Company Customer
        • State registeration number
        • EIN
